AdkAction and partners have been awarded $225,000 to continue the Emergency Food Packages project. These boxes of healthy food sourced from local farms were delivered to the doorsteps of Adirondack residents in need. The project overcame three of the most common barriers to healthy food access: cost, transportation, and cooking skill.
