Free Seeds to Help Pollinators
AdkAction’s Adirondack Pollinator Project offers free Native Wildflower seed packets to anyone who lives in and around the Adirondack Park to help increase native pollinator habitat.
Free seed packets are currently being distributed only at AdkAction’s table at community events.
For de-lawning and other large-scale plantings, visit AdkAction’s annual Native Plant Sale to pre-order 1/4 lb or larger quantities of our Adirondack Wildflower Mix for pickup at our Pollinator Festival on June 6, 2026 in Lake Placid.
What's in the seed mix?
This custom wildflower seed mix was specially created for AdkAction’s Adirondack Pollinator Project by Ernst Conservation Seeds, with species chosen to thrive in Northern New York’s climate and support native pollinators. The blend includes a diverse array of native flowers and grasses that bloom from spring through fall, providing critical habitat and food for bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects.
