Adirondack Pollinator Festival

June 3, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

This year, AdkAction’s Adirondack Pollinator Project is celebrating our annual Pollinator-Friendly Native Plant Sale with a Pollinator Festival on June 3rd, 10:00AM–2:00PM at the scenic Uihlein Farm Greenhouse at 281 Bear Cub Road in Lake Placid.

Pre-order your plants to be automatically entered in a random drawing for prizes at the festival, including Adirondack Pollinator Project tote bags and free plants. Plants will also be available for purchase at the festival for $14 each, but pre-ordering is recommended to ensure availability. Visit AdkAction.org/plantsale to place your order.

What else can I do at the festival?
Enjoy a stunning view of the high peaks from a historic greenhouse. Picnicking encouraged!

Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer your questions about planting and caring for your pollinator habitat.

Kids can take home free wildflower seed packets, participate in activity stations to learn about pollination, and get their faces painted with flowers, butterflies, bees, and other pollinators.

Sign up for Meadow Yoga at 10:00AM with a suggested donation of $20 to the Adirondack Pollinator Project. Space is limited, so please sign up in advance here.

Join in a  guided Grasslands Walk with Ray Curran.

Learn from our Compost for Good team about composting to restore Adirondack soils, and how to use compost in your pollinator garden. Locally made compost will also be available to buy at the festival.
