Pollinator Plant Sale Open Now!

AdkAction’s Adirondack Pollinator Project is delighted to offer a local Pollinator Plant sale again in 2020. One of the most important things you can do to help hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees in the Adirondacks is to plant a pollinator garden.

With the help of Cook & Gardener Nursery, we have carefully chosen pollinator plants that thrive in the Adirondacks. All of the plants offered have been carefully sourced or grown from seed to ensure that they have never come in contact with neonicotinoids (a class of insecticides that are harmful to pollinators). Whether you plant a few or many, they will help rebuild the monarch butterfly population, attract hummingbirds and strengthen native bee and moth populations. Special thanks to Fledging Crow Vegetables for use of their greenhouse to grow the plants this year.

SPECIAL SALE 20% POLLINATOR GARDEN KITS: This year we are offering pollinator garden kits. The kit includes 24 native pollinator plants for only $192.

All proceeds will support the Adirondack Pollinator Project, a project of AdkAction in partnership with Lake Placid Land Conservancy, The Wild Center, and Paul Smith’s College.

NOTE: DUE TO THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK, WE WILL PROVIDE SOCIALLY DISTANT OPTIONS FOR PLANT PICK-UP IN JUNE.
