AdkAction’s “Don’t Be Salty” Campaign Inspires Statewide Action

Our Don’t Be Salty ADK and Don’t Be Salty Lake Champlain public outreach initiatives are making waves beyond the Adirondacks! This winter, they will transform into the Don’t Be Salty NY program, led by the NYS Dept. of Environmental Conservation and Dept. of Transportation, aimed at reducing road salt impacts on waterways and ecosystems across the state. It’s a great example of AdkAction’s local ideas shaping statewide action to protect our water.
