AdkAction & CDPHP Wellness Surveys at Saranac Lake Farmers Market

AdkAction has been working with long-standing supporter, CDPHP®, to administer a wellness survey at the Saranac Lake Farmers Market throughout the market season.

The wellness survey focuses on food security, local food, and the shopping habits of participants who take the survey. Survey questions include food security screening questions, general demographic information, and lifestyle preferences. Insights on what health issues and resources are most important to local residents of the North Country will be gathered through the ten-minute survey, which is administered by AdkAction staff and volunteers. All participants in the survey can remain anonymous in their answers.

Wellness survey participants will be given two $5 vouchers to spend at approved market vendors. CDPHP has generously funded these vouchers so that market vendors are reimbursed the same day they are used at the Saranac Lake Farmers Market. If you are a resident of Clinton, Essex, Franklin, or Hamilton county please be sure to stop by our booth at the market and support our work by participating in this survey.

About the market: The Saranac Lake Farmers market operates every Saturday from 9am – 1pm, now until October 8th, and is located at Riverside Park in Saranac Lake.

About CDPHP: Established in 1984, CDPHP is a physician-founded, member-focused, and community-based not-for-profit health plan that offers high-quality affordable health insurance plans to members in 29 counties throughout New York. We are incredibly thankful to CDPHP for supporting our food security work and helping us survey those living in our community.
