$4.5 Million Investment in Keeseville

We are thrilled to share that Keeseville has been awarded a $4.5 million NY Forward grant to support downtown revitalization projects, including new housing, storefronts, businesses, and sidewalks. This historic investment, the largest Keeseville has ever seen, was recently featured by WCAX.

AdkAction was proud to assist with the grant application process, with board member Diana Zais leading the effort as Chair of the Keeseville Forward Committee. Executive Director Sawyer Bailey also served on the committee alongside local leaders and volunteers.

AdkAction’s office is located in downtown Keeseville, and the community has been a major focus of our revitalization efforts for several years. Our work includes organizing the Keeseville Community Arts Festival each summer to celebrate local artists and bring new visitors to town. This year’s festival will take place on July 18 and 19.

“This award is transformative for Keeseville,” said Town of Ausable Supervisor Tim Bresett. “The time is right to build on the growing momentum, bringing new life to our historic downtown.”

With new opportunities for historic preservation incentives and public input shaping the final projects, Keeseville’s future is looking brighter than ever. Congratulations to everyone involved in making this vision a reality.
